Mr. Wright worked at various positions in hotels owned by Wright Investment Properties, Inc. while pursuing his undergraduate degree. He began his corporate career as Vice President of Development for Wright Investment Properties, Inc. In his role as President, his responsibilities include forming strategy-driven and long-term relationships with partners, joint venture partners, lenders, hotel franchise companies and other partners to drive yields and lead the growth through acquisition, investment and accretive deal structures. Mr. Wright holds a Masters of Science in Real Estate from New York University and graduated from the University of Tennessee – Knoxville with a B.S. in Hotel and Restaurant Administration. He has been a guest lecturer at New York University, Harvard University and the University of Memphis. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and was a founding member of the Memphis District Council as well as the founder and Chairman of the Young Leaders Group.
